G-SHOCK is a line of watches manufactured by the Japanese electronics company, Casio, and is designed to resist mechanical stress, shock and vibration. G-SHOCK is the embodiment of what a 'tough watch' should be, and as such that feeling must be conveyed visually as well.
Design web pages, banners and an e-commerce experience that is reflective of the G-SHOCK Brand. Feedback from the corporate division is extremely important as they dictate what content is to be on the website. Communication between the digital team and corporate team is key to getting the content produced accurately and quickly as products tend to move at a very fast pace.
Adhearing to branding guidelines is definitely priority number one. The look and feel of the brand needs to be maintained at all times. This is done by using stark color contrast, bold type, and hard edges that all contribute to a tough look.
